Looking at the light bar mounts that are offered by Sherpa. Are those the only light bars that can be used or can we use other light bars like the Cali Raised LED ones for example?

We are actually looking into this! We offer a mount for the Prinsu rack, but just have to confirm it fits the Sherpa before we can confirm!

Some beefier drawer handles or gate pulls would work.

Do you not have cutout handles on yours above the doors?

Wasn’t even thinking about an awning covering them, heard that.

    What about a paracord handle?

Has anyone used the crossbar risers with a Thule or any roof box over the cab? Looking to see how high it sits before I buy

Has anyone had to re-tighten their mount bolts?

When I installed mine, I applied blue thread-locker and tightened them down enough so that the rubber to the bonded washer was starting to stick out but not enough that the washers went concave. I've had the rack installed for at least 4-5 months now with no issue. Recently, I've noticed some water leaking at the driver's side floormat after it rained. Went to check the mount bolts and they were quite loose, so I tightened them again hoping this was the issue. Just curious if anyone else had this issue or maybe I am not tightening them down enough?

Has anyone put lights in the handles? If so which ones. I’m looking at the Baja design rock light kit for the Sherpa.

no but if I did it would probably be at least red. Even better if switchable to white and amber. There may be some out there.

I forget if lights can fit into the rack. Or into handles.
If it is handles, I’ve seen a bunch of light holding handles on Etsy for cheaper than a retailer.

they do have one that holds harbor freight lights that are probably the cheapest. But only white color.

Yea I think I would like white no matter what. I’ve seen the Etsy 3d printed ones. Curious how bright those harbor freight lights are.

you could possibly buy one, jump it to a NocoBoost, to test the output and return it if you don’t like it
