Yes but I stand on the sliders and hold onto the rack while undoing the straps and unzipping the cover or while putting it away.

Juat finished installing and wiring the sherpa roof light brackets. They were sold out of the baja rock lights. I bought 4 baja rock lights from hotshot off-road . Wired them up to the switch pros. Very easy install.

I love the lights are reassessed and wont make more wind noise. I just wish there wasn't that cut off right next to the doors. Id like them more if they shined down to the doors also. I can't wait to install my Topper rack then order the truck rack soon.

What is the difference between contoured and flat for the rack choices? I don’t see any difference in the pictures. Thinking about ordering cab and topper rack. Anyone buy bare aluminum and paint it themselves, I know some extra prep work might be involved for aluminum. I like the looks and while I wouldn’t need to use it often it would be nice to have the bed space when needed while hauling kayaks or a small jon boat.

I have a SnugTop and if you look at the rails, they are slightly angled out to each other, rather than flat. Hence contoured vs flat. I ordered the contoured. They are backordered a bit due to the lack of materials apparently. I ordered on Black Friday and am still waiting. I am cool with it. Still better than the Prinsu.

First time seeing this rack. I like the rubber foot idea. Was leaning towards the prinzu, but this one has my attention. Thanks for the photos @Ckm1971

Okay that makes sense. I think my ARE is flat but I’ll double check. It said 6-8 weeks hopefully you will be getting yours soon? They look great.

I should be getting mine in February.... I debated the rack options forever and went with Sherpa because of the foot mounts, factory holes, built in handles and the cross bars were a bit more elevated over the roof compared to other racks, which is important to me because it's easier to clean... I've owned racks for years and debris (pine needles in my case) can build up under those cross sections and it's a PITA to get to. This and the surface area of the mounts are what pulled me away from Uptop, which I was pretty dead set on until I really looked at Sherpa. I also like them because they're not very common and maybe they'll make me feel special or something - which is important. The only downside is the wait, but we're waiting for everything these days and I'm so easily distracted by the next modification anyway....just plan ahead.

If I think about keeping this rack forever...which is the plan, I'll probably order a back up set of the rubber feet. I presume that with all of these modular type racks, these would be the first to fail..... These look the beefiest of all, but if they're relatively cheap, why not.

Do the elevated crossbars allow the moonroof to open? Also, does the sharkfin get in the way?

@vorkuta775 , I'm assuming that you ran the wire down the side of your windshield. Can u take a picture to show how you ran the wiring. Is it real noticeable? I like your setup and I may opt to get the lighting too.

Yes. I put the second crossbar back enough so I could still have the moonroof open and they line up. When the moonroof is tilted there is about 3/8” of clearance. And no issues with the shark fin on a 2021.

@vorkuta775 , Thanks brother. The wires look almost unnoticeable. That's what I was hoping for. I think you've swayed me to go for a light bar.

I'm finally starting to piece my build after 4 years. Life's too short to stay stock. :)

First up is an eibach 2.0 lift and leafpack, then roof rack/lighting, bronxe Advan RGD-2 rims or Volk te-37 and then adding sounds.
