If you could explain the problem you're having or post some photos I'm sure we can get it sorted out.

I have been in contact with Sherpa and they said they haven't seen this rack before and they don't know how it would mount up. I sent an email to Prorack with no response yet.

That's a very interesting track system for sure. Seems very proprietary. If you can find the thread pitch on those stand-offs you may be able to get a few more (8 total) and mount to those. You'll most likely have to run the adjustable feet in the lowest setting.

Yeah Im not sure what to do. Id rather not mount them to the current stands on there but I might have to get a new track system or maybe just bolt it right to the cap itself. It just got more expensive though :bananadead:

A new track system is not a bad idea at all, Thule or Yakima track systems are great in our experience and the install is very straightforward. It is certainly a bummer that the one that came on it does not have a universal style track system.

How long are your tracks? Looking and it looks like they aren't to expensive but then there install.

Thank you for your help! Your team had great response time last night when I was emailing them and were as helpful as they could be. I am going to have to install a Yakima track I think. I can't find any info on the prorack and can't get ahold of anyone there.

I am glad you have had a good experience with our team. We certainly try to do our best to help out! You'll like the Yakima tracks way more!

I got an email back from Prorack finally saying they will get back to me within 5 days. But its interesting because the email came from Yakima and the contact number is the same as well.

I have the Sherpa rack Teton and crows nest. I bought it because it was wider (48”) and fits full sheets of ply, made by a smaller business and more robustly built. Will and Hayden are great to work with as well.FE7A06C4-DA96-4995-A3DB-80C62B226932.jpg

You won’t regret it. Awesome rack, and the customer service is second to none

More research done: Sherpa’s Grand Teton seems to be the best! I am wondering if there’s any discount or if I should wait for black Friday sale, go without roof rack for 7 more months...

I think the price would only go up if not staying the same, raw material has gone up in price significantly this year

Not to mention that ordering during a Black Friday sale will increase your lead time

Those mounts look like stamped/folded clips for sheet metal screws. Not very strong if that’s the case. Ok to throw a pair of skis on but nothing heavy. Slick but not secure.

Yeah that is what I figured out also. I bought some Yakima tracks to mount the rack to. Much better!
