I bought a used 2014 Regular cab 4x4 with a manual transmission. I have two Jeep so I figure I should keep a Toyota as a spare just in case. :D
My dog is supper hyper and keep stepping on the shift boot and broke the plastic tabs that hold the boot gasket in place.
I know it a small thing but it sets off my OCD.
Is they some way I can fix or attach it so it will withstand a spastic fifty pound husky?

When i bought my 2012, the shift boot wouldnt stay in place. Being a redneck, i drilled a hole in each corner of the plastic around the boot, and placed 4 zip ties through the holes and secured it that way. Still that way to this day, but i have never had a dog step on it!
