I'm constantly having to manually unlock my shift lever. I've checked all the fuses I think could be related to tail/brake lights and all appear good. I've noticed the problem usually coincides with ABS and traction warning lights coming on. Could I have an issue with brake sensor? I can't ever recreate problem with someone watching brake lights...

My bet is on the brake pedal switch, as it will cause both issues. It might just need to be adjusted.

I can't seem to find anything explaining how to adjust. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks
