Over the last week or so, the stock shift knob on my TRD OR has been getting more and more loose. It's gotten to the point where I can twist the knob, quite easily, from the stick on which it sits. Not sure if it's held on by glue, threaded on, not too sure...?

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Thanks!

Pull down on the ring under your knob... now tighten to the right....when tight let the ring come back up to lock it there..

    Easy peasy

EDIT.... OOPS...I said "ring", not 4skin....hehe

Gently untwist the skirt off the knob then tighten it. I found mine could go a full turn and itdont move no more.

Thanks for posting this, mine worked itself loose after only 15,000 miles. I didn’t know the ring popped off the shifter so easily.
