Ball knobs are not for me, like the blue, don't like the rope under it. I had many hand shakers, I even have the bat shifter from (ya the B-mobile) they made 7 of them. Shifter's & cars some were auto's some not. Anyway if U like the feel of it cool it looks good, just dont like the rope under it.

After a 2nd look it's got a boner. What's the deal with that? Why so high?

Personally, i would not mind if my shifter was a bit longer, it seems i have to reach a ways down there in order to grab it (probably because the way my seat is adjusted). Plus i have driven older 4x4s with the old school long shifters my whole life and are more used to them than the short ones

I got the shift knob at sickspeed.com. they have tons of options. I love it. i put the paracord wrap below to finish it. the original shifter went all the way to the bottom with the new ball shifter it left a gap, I like the way it came out

    I like it.

My leather knob is coming apart and I need to do something soon.

Anyone know if the base model six speed trucks come with a non leather wrapped knob? I really like the factory knob on my work Tacoma, but it's a five speed and the pattern would be wrong.
