Shift Knob

I'm away from my computer for the weekend on a crap cracked phone. Will post the deets when I'm back Monday, but it was the best looking $10 leather shift boot I could find on Amazon. The plastic frame was interfering a bit so I just cracked it in two spots and set it in there to test fit. Turns out I liked the fit and its held up for half a year without messing with it, so I haven't.

Here's the boot I used to achieve the above results. It looks like it's currently unavailable from Amazon, but if you go with a Corolla specific boot, you're likely to achieve the same results. I didn't want a chrome trim ring as the TRD knob has provisions to attach the boot without it:
