So yesterday the SSP wouldn't shift out of 4th all the way up to 72 mph while I was accelerating very easy going from a 55 to 70 speed zone. It was in S mode and I had to shift to D just to get it to upshift to 5th then 6th.
Anyone else having issues with the SSP after 1-2 years of use? This is now about the 4th or 5th time this has happened among other little nuances.
I have contacted DZ Innovations and waiting to hear back from them.

"S" mode, meaning the shift limiter?

That defaults to 4th gear- did you leave it in 4th?

nope, i put it in S mode and just leave it there, that's what you are supposed to do with it, it just wouldn't upshift while there, this has happened only a few times, but just out of the norm...

If u move the shifter, then u disable ssp, even if u just touch it. Just move the shifter to D then back to S to re engage ssp

so just an update on this, DZ Innovations is replacing the SSP under warranty because they think it may have some bugs in it and will do a check on it when I get it back to them.
it changed to 5th yesterday then never shifted as I saw the "5" show up on the dash then it went back to 4th..so I think it has some bugs in it.
