Okay. That is pretty funny though.

 

Think I finally got my collar painted ok. Only took 52 attempts.

 

My contribution to this thread. Luckily Richard sent me a test collar to play with. Cut up a perfect piece to make it fit

 

Did you have to do anything extra for it to stay put like this?

 

I have to cut the top using a dremel with a grinding tip. Then use thin piece of double sided tape to secure it to the chrome collar piece.

I tried to use a hole saw on the test piece and that didn’t work.

 

Many thanks to @Majora for these pictures of the AT replacement collar. Now with plenty of room for passing wires through to the knob.

Do you have more of the MT shifter retainer boots available?

 

Oh yeah, inventory is very healthy right now.

 

Also, not sure if you saw through the link in the OP, but 2nd Gen replacement/retainers have pattern options now.

this is what I’m wanting in mine, what do I need to copy this in mine? Does the red lettering match the inferno red dash pieces?
