Are you still selling an AT shift boot retainer? And do you use zelle for payment?

Huge shout of to @7r41lbr34k3r for the awesome boot cap and @MESO for the chrome delete kit. Finally finished off my shift knob utilizing the factory connections.

That is easily done, but would be unnecessarily expensive. There is no reason to keep that shape for a 1pc solution, unless you just like the look of it.

Took me a whole 5 minutes, but here it is. I can add it to the store if anyone wants it. Would be the same price as the other one of similar size.

Minor alterations don't need to be tested, so hit me with ideas ... I don't mind adding variations at all.

That was the best I could do when I was looking for it. It is part of an assembly and not sold on its own. This is why I modeled it up.

If you were to going to paint the chrome collar would you need to scuff it up and then apply a few coats of paint or could you just paint it as is? I was going to opt for Dupli-Color Gunmetal spray paint.

I scuffed it up and used a couple coats of matte black. As others have found, the chrome plating is hard to scuff. I am happy though that both the painted boot collar and 4WD knob are holding up well. I did the 4WD knob after this pic. I also modded it so that I don't have to push to get into 4Lo.

Would Plasti Dip be a better option rather than paint?
