    Today I replaced the SLT solenoid, strainer and added Lubeguard Platinum to the transmission. I verified the level is full at 97F, no leaks. So far, the transmission is shifting better than it has been. Time will tell if I solved my problem.

    Keep us updated . I am interested to see if the SLT solenoid helped . I know they are pricey $$$$ . Your explanation of the problem sure sounded like the SLT solenoid issue

    The SLT solenoids are a common failure item. Hopefully this took care of your issues.

    So far, about five hundred miles, transmission is shifting perfectly! I think this issue is put to bed.
