I see $765 listed for the 2016 automatic. And then there's the added fuel cost of 91 octane.

10% 4th July discount code. And it's like $3 more a tank. If you can't afford that... idk what to say.

once you move it from s-mode it reverts back to normal, cancel the sspro,,, bump shifter up or down out of s-mode will cancel it..

    a bunch of mods

You have made it quite clear that you are not interested in the SSP, which is perfectly fine. There is a thread specifically dedicated to the tune, so Id like to ask if we could keep this one on-topic toward the SSP and its functionality.

It is a bit irrelevant to attempt to compare the SSP vs an ECU tune/reprogram because they are completely different devices with different intentions.. Thx

Ive had the new chip for about 3 weeks but was out of town for an extended period. Installed it a few days ago and now the truck shift is great. It's definitely worth the money. Customer service is excellent. I can't say enough good about the company or product. It will truly make you not question buying a 3rd gen with auto trans.

Thank you for adding smiles to the miles.

I found installing it if you cut a piece of the bubble packed shipped with the unit about 2 inches wide the length of the bubble pack sheet. Then wrap this strip of bubble pack lengthwise around the wire going to the OBD connector you can tuck this under the dash and it easily wedges in place and stays fixed and easily removable later. No wire ties necessary.

There needs to be a change in the testing instructions. Line 1. Needs to be changed. DO NOT START ENGINE. Testing the installation without starting wont work if your Tacoma has push to start button. Shift sence wont get power to test function until the engine starts. At least it wont on my TRD Off road model. Everything works well with the engine started.
