HIDs in a halogen fog light is offensive to all other drivers on the road. You will produce massive scatter and glare for oncoming drivers and your beam pattern will have gone to garbage. Not to mention in fog, the scatter will negate the entire purpose of a fog light, and reflect back at the driver. You may get away with the HIDs in the headlights on a 3rd gen due to your projectors.

This is my first time owning a truck and with a vehicle with foglights. I order those lights because I like the way HIDs look. As far for the foglight HID I will definitely test them out for a few nights and see what type of feedback I get then I will change them out if get a lot of negative feedback. Thanks

HID optics are not compatible with a halogen reflector. This is a well documented fact.

One of the greatest lighting resources:

If you just want the look, buy a halogen bulb in the color temperature desired to match the look of HIDs.
