    Congratulations for sure!

I still to this day remember leaving for my basic training @ Ft. Jackson, SC.

It is an experience I'll never forget & at the time never realized the importance of the decision for the rest of my 25+ yr career.

Hope you enjoy the summer & keep us posted as time get closer. What did you sign up for?

    Sup,

Congratz. You'll remember boot camp for the rest of your life, I promise you that.

You'll also remember what you have to do to earn the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. They don't just give it out, you earn it with blood, sweat, and tears.

I'm a 0311, what are you? If I could do it all over again, I'd go Weapons Platoon. Infantry is different than other mos out there. In the Grunts, you will do everything with speed and intensity 100% of the time. The environment is always fast paced and there is little time for bullshit.

One thing I never forgot what my drill instructor said was that once you join the military, you see civilians in a different way. You'll see what I mean.

Military service is a fast way to grow up, be different, and stick out in a good way.

    Are you reserve or active?
