Shipping Bumper to Oahu?

I want to buy hybrid bumper from Lil B’s Fab and get it shipped to Oahu. But i called the shop and they said it only goes to Hilo, Big island? I swear that all the shipments from the mainland come to Oahu first.
And if it does come to Oahu first what do i input as a address for “local freight terminal”?

 

Yes, it all comes to Oahu first.
Maston handles most of it and Young Bros to outerisland. Have u considered a 3rd party like Ship It to Hawaii? Send it to their wrsh in LA and they bring it over.

 

i haven’t looked into doing it that way since i have no idea how it works.

 

But if i do go the expensive route and just ship it to Oahu without 3rd party. Do you know what address i have to input for shipping? Or i just search up a freight terminal on Oahu?

I ordered a hybrid bumper from lil b’s through Tacomabeast, received it back in June 2020. I’m on Maui, same thing was told that it would go to big island first before getting to Maui. All in all it cost about 750 for shipping on top of the bumpers price.

• I use to use Ship to Hawaii in the early years when they started up but it became too expensive to use them. If it's light enough you can use their Air fares but if it's a heavy item then it comes by boat. Rates apply by the Cubic ft space it occupies in the container and they start at around $200. There's a calculator on the website to estimate the amount of space it would take and the cost for shipping. I haven't use them in years when I was bringing in Long block engines so prices may differ.

 

its gonna be pricey as hell. my urd ypipe was 26lbs but the box was big; 350 bucks. maybe freight itll be cheaper, but you know how the barge is. probably three weeks to a month wait, for what? 150 cheaper? i dunno man. pros and cons.

@Rainoffire: yeah getting everything all situated where i didnt have any clearance issues was a damn situation, i aint gonna lie. if i had it on a rack it woulda been way easier but it was on the ground and i was on my back so space was super limted. got it all good though and wouldnt have it any other way. thinking of taking off my 2020 pro exhaust and going full urd now. either that or widowmaker.

Is yours a 4x4? Mine is a 2WD Taco, so the subframe is shallower, giving almost zero allowance for the pipes. I can barely fit my pinky under the pipes.
