Holy crap, I was about to pull the trigger on some eibach coils. I entered the promo code and got 8 bucks off. Sweet, I thought, until I got to shipping. $45 dollars for UPS ground. Holy crap. Shipping is a third of the price just about.

These things aren't made of lead or very cumbersome, so why is shipping so much? Im sure they fit in one of those flat rate boxes.

    Hi,

They do weigh approximately 30 lbs. Where are you located? If you are on the east coast then that is halfway across the country which isn't going to be cheap.

Do you guys offer different shipping options? I'm not sure how big they are but I think his comment refers to the USPS flat rate boxes which are only $15 anywhere in the country under 70 lbs.

I'm curious as well since I keep hearing more and more great things about the Eibach springs and am on the east coast.

Except for the largest flat rate box is 12"x12"x5.5" and IIRC those springs are around 16" so the flat rate shipping request is a moot point.

30 lbs is a lot of stuff to move-I doubt you'll find much better prices elsewhere either.

There is a pretty consistent flow of folks with complaints about the shipping costs from alot of vendors- but when you look at the situation-It's usually about the only option.

Makes sense, I was just throwing it out there to see if they've ever looked into alternate shipping methods but it sounds like they've already optimized their shipping based on size/weight of the items they sell.

With all the people on here that buy from them and have nothing but great things to say, they're obviously doing something right! Us east coasters are lacking in off-road shops so it gets frustrating paying a lot more because of shipping. Obviously this isn't caused by the vendor, just the cost of doing business across the country.

We looked into the shipping and we found the weight of the springs was entered improperly, the shipping should be more accurate now. Sorry for any trouble.
