^^^Best advise there is for the Basic & AIT training.......and line up on the back row for platoon formations. Your flaws will be less noticeable. ;)

You have 2 ears, 2 eyes and 1 mouth for a reason. Shut up, observe and listen at all times. To your superiors goes without saying...but the same goes with your peers. Let the dummies, loud mouths, show boats, bragger types make all the mistakes first. This will help you avoid mistakes and will help you pick the right friends.
And if someone wants your opinion, they will give it to you.

Good Luck. Try harder than the next guy, remember your training and you will make it.

I was Navy, but just remember boot camp is a finite amount of time. You'll be back to the (somewhat) real world soon. I see that you have the airborne option..
One thing I highly regret is not trying to go into Explosives Ordnance Disposal early on in my short career. If I had been able to crossover to that job, I probably would've stayed in.
Always remember that (after boot camp and your job school) you don't have to take "no" for an answer on anything. If you want to do something in the military, your superiors should be able to make it happen for you.

Good luck and do great in boot camp. It pays off to not be a turd.

Well at least you were a "Red Falcon" and not a "Blue Falcon". I was in 3/504 PIR around the same time.
