Yes, can't remember if they have a 2nd gen specific version or if it's cross compatible across both gens, but I have their device in my 2nd gen powering a dash cam. Very easy to install and set up. This coming from someone who refuses to do any electrical work because I know nothing about that stuff.

My tacoma was a temporary vehicle and stock for many months. I was afraid of hopping on TW because of my habit of not being able to leave anything I own unmodified due to my unsatiable curiosity and gear headedness. Pretty much everything was inspired by a TW member or DIY post in some way or form. Its kept me up many nights :annoyed::rofl:

Can you elaborate on the accumulator delete? What is it and what is the benefit to deleting it? What’s involved with removing it? Thanks

Amazon does not have them in stock, but you can order them directly from the manufacturer.

You linked a 5 pin from Amazon but a 14 pin from the manufacturer. Which one is for the 2Gen? If it's the 14, it's available on Amazon also...although it costs a couple bucks more.

Just curious which one you intended to recommend.

You are correct. The pins are different.

But it also says it only works with a self-dimmer mirror which I do not have. So I can't give you an answer.

I'd say unplug your mirror, count the pins, and see which one works.

I'll give it a try, but I did run spotter mirrors even on a small little golf R and once you get used to it, it's difficult to switch back! More vision > less vision just for that one time a biker comes flying in and jumping lanes, or the wild drivers on socal highways. I had my doubts, but it definitely helped. I did also have the aspherical mirrors tinted blue to help reduce glare

    3rd gen TRD OR suspension
I got the metal bracket that helps to keep your tailgate attached to your truck instead of some POS thief selling it on craigslist or marketplace..

3rd gen OR suspension on a 2nd gen was a helpful thread for me, I bought my truck used 2 years ago and the shocks were shot and the leaf springs were sagged into a negative arch. A regional forum member reached out after I enquired about a complete "take-off" suspension, a few hundred bucks and a afternoon later, the little truck drove pretty good.
