Yea, at 250K miles, I'm not spending anywhere near that on something so trivial. I'm hoping to get another 250+..........but if I spent that and it blew up tomorrow I'd be one pissed of MFer lol

I believe it was only the very base models of Tacomas that came with the black shifter surround, the rest were all that gray/silver.

The part number is 58805-AD010, you can usually find it on toyota dealer sites for under $100.

You’re correct the trim piece around the shifter is almost always that ugly silver color from 05-15. Unless it’s a base Tacoma

I’m referring to this center console assembly that is always black in the 12-15 Tacomas.

At least I haven’t seen one yet that ever came in gray.

Of course all of the dealers only have the drawing not specifying the color. I reached out to one of the dealers and they don't know what color it is.

I felt the same way when I put in LEDs. So now I have the stock one on driver side and the bright one on the other.

I never knew I needed a Sprint Booster and Sumo Springs front and rear. But I am glad I was directed to both.

Going to try this on my 2011. Looks like I'll need a new trim panel for it to attach to since the door lock and window lock button layout is different between the years. Can source a new trim piece https://toyotaparts.lakelandtoyota....switch-trim-panel-left-front-upper-7420204040 for about $20.

Yeah the most reliable method I found was searching for "Base" somewhere in the fitment description. That usually works for everyone I've rec'd it to.

I ordered two. Thought my interior lights were green. They are white. Thought I could live with green switches on the drivers door. I could not. Ordered a white set and need to list my green set for sale. The first set was during the mad rush when everyone was ordering. That set came in two parts, with the drivers switches coming first after about a week. The passenger side followed about a week later, maybe less. The second order took slightly less time. I think that set was at my door in about 5 days. Both came together with that set. How long has it been? Have you sent them an email?

    I ordered the Amber lights.

    It's been over a week.

I send them an email this past Friday but have not heard back. Of course it is the weekend, so I guess I can give them another day or two.

Lots of TW members have ordered and although none are reporting to me directly I have seen a lot of "I got the parts" posts, a few "The part is not in yet" but I have yet to see a "I did not receive the part" post yet.
