We haven't had enough snow this year. People are forgetting how to drive on the slippery stuff between snowfalls...

Per collision center. Not actually totaled but currently sitting at 18k worth of damage. Claims no frame damage but I'm going to ask for the report (per my cousin who does this stuff). After this is all said and done I'm estimating 37k worth of repairs over 4 accidents on a 33k Tacoma.

Having driven in the Midwest for 3 days now, I can confidently say it depends where you live.

People out here have a death wish and drive like it. Well above speed limits, constantly drifting in and out of lanes with zero turn signals in sight, and tailgating like a muh-fuh.

I upped my insurance before moving back here for a good reason...

They're padding the bill a bit. Total damages on mine came to just over $23k with a frame replacement and minor front end damage from being pushed into the car in front of me. The frame itself was 7 or 8k.

IMO they can do whatever they want for padding the bill. It isn't my insurance policy covering the bill. This wasn't obviously drivable after the fact so I'm putting miles on a full size truck that isn't mine for about 3 months.

To anyone who is randomly reading this... anyone dealing with random backorders/TSB issues?

Sitting and waiting on a right control arm. ETA unknown and still driving a rental. Unsure if I'll need to do any maintenance when I get it back since I haven't driven it since January 7th.
