    That would be super sick. You should look at @Box Rocket trailer that he built. Great inspiration for your build


    It’s so much fun man! If you go by yourself it’s definitejy nice to have a winch. I went snow wheeling in Big Bear last year by myself and got stuck twice. Winch pulled me out nicely both times.

    Doesn’t sound like a whole lot of weight savings. To get the same strength from aluminum as steel I think you have to up the wall thickness by 25 or 33 percent or something close to that

    Haha it’s the pre spring cleaning lol. My wife and I are doing the same thing. Just trying to sell stuff we’re not using enough that is taking up space. Just sold the kayak that I bought last year since I was barely using it.

    But that’ll be cool man. I’ll be stoked to watch the build take place (if it ever does :rolleyes:)

    When I weighed my trailer (Minus the HDPE panels on the sides) it only weighed in at 406 lbs, truck couldn't even tell it was there on the way to the weight station :rofl:

    I will admit my next trailer build will be at least aluminum bodies, but I'd like to go the way of a off-road tear drop.

    Thats exactly what I will be doing, I will still throw the RTT on the roof for the son and the wife and I below. I will also be able to do a heater which will be nice for hunting, I was a tab bit chilled this year...
