Recently did my brakes and got some help from the little guy. He goes crazy over the impact. Wants to play with it all the time!

Interesting. I just put on up some 2" Mcneil. Was trying to figure out a good way to run the airflow. I don't think there will be room under the 2" to fit it.

You’d probably just have to do some more cutting towards the front of the air flow so it fits more around it instead of over it

I have a tire on still on one side and the jack stand is there but so perfectly behind my fat body in the picture that you can’t see it haha

Okay good. Just would hate for the jack to give out and hurt you or your son. My son also works on my truck as well haha

Good looking out, I appreciate it. Getting your kids involved is a lot of fun. My daughter loves to help too. Anytime I’m installing sliders on someone’s truck she loves to come out and meet the customer and hand me tools and bolts and stuff haha

Yeah mines the same way. He’d rather play with my tools than his toys. I can’t keep any sockets or ratchets. Keep finding them in the driveway

@Shmellmopwho hey saw you had a diy bumper from relentless. Took at look at their website and diy isn’t an option. Am I missing something?

Jeez it’s been a while since I’ve been in here hahaha. What’s up buddy. Yes it is a DIY kit from relentless but they stopped offering it shortly after I purchased mine. My educated guess tells me that they didn’t want people buying up a bunch of kits, having cousin billy weld them together really shitty, reselling them, and then having people look at their bumpers and question the quality of them when they weren’t the ones to weld those particular bumpers. Not 100% sure that’s the case but that’s my thoughts. There’s still a few companies out there that offer a DIY kit but I can’t remember who. Maybe SOS offroad concepts?

Things are going alright. Just got back from a 12 day camping trip in Utah. Spend most of the time above 8k feet to avoid the heat. It was 108 in Baker on the way home and that was at 8pm...

I guess you need to blow the dust off this thread every once in a while..

preciate the responses! I have seen the coastal and I’m not a huge fan of it. True north makes one that kinda resembles that relentless fab. But I scrolled across your build looking for some fender trimming info and saw a set Dclb build, been building a Dclb myself and I admire what you have done man!
    Here is the beast haha

I appreciate it man. It’s been a fun journey thus far. Your truck is looking great! That’s the best part of ownership is the build and just always building it up and turning it into what represents you and your needs.

Been a bit. Just a small update. Drained diff fluid today and replaced with some fresh goodness. Also, recently built a dual Jerry can holder, cut my old one off and welded the new one onto the swing out.

Years ago, I pulled my secondary air pump out of its stock location under the hood and put it in a different spot to make room for my ARB air compressor. I did a super ghetto job of securing in and just kinda neglected it. I decided after way too long to do the uni filter mod on the air pump and made a bracket to hold the secondary air pump secure. Much better now!!
