Hahaha I'm decent at best man. Probably wanna get you a little mig setup. They have the little Lincoln machines at Home Depot that are pretty decent. Lincoln 180 I think is like $650 or somewhere close to that. Or a Hobart Handler 190 or something. You'll have a ton of fun once you get back into it. I would also get a gas setup 75/25 argon co2 mixture.

Just a little progress report for today. Got the spindle welded in! Got the side plates tacked on and into position. Very rough right now but once I get everything fully welded and grinded down it should start looking a little prettier (hopefully!)

Looking good. The truck should look great once the rack and bumper are done.

Haha naw you're good. I'm the stupid one. It was kinda obvious since that's been the topic for the last little while in my build haha. Just had to make sure. Well basically the list is:

    • Finish welding everything
•Add mount for tire carrier so it can bolt on
•Relocate rear view mirror tailgate back up camera to somewhere that I can see behind me
•Add a latch to lock the swing out.
•reinforce the side panels with a crossmember that ties into the frame plates
•Add gussets in places where I want to beef things up
    •Build Jerry can mount
•Build drop down table from the back of tire carrier to hold camp stove when cooking
    • Grind everything down pretty
    •PAINT!!!

Still a pretty big to do list haha. If you or anyone else has any ideas of things to add for coolness factor or for making it better lemme know!!
