Oh that's not good. Hole in your muffler isn't great. Not the end of the world but you'll probably wanna get that fixed or replaced pretty soon. So it's just your hangars that broke off the frame or something?

haha only thing I can think of is that the hangars need to be welded back on properly. Sounds like your brother may not have got proper penetration in the metal. If you weld those on well they shouldn't break off

The whole thing broke off the frame at first and later the hanger broke off so I'm trying to come up with another way because exhaust are supposed to have movement but not too much and I don't think the way he welded it it had enough movement causing it to break so I'm trying to brain storm alternative hanging solutions

Well the little rubber grommet things that connect the hangar from the exhaust to the hangar from the frame is what give it movement. Do you not have those?

Took them all off when we hacked my exhaust and dumped it right underneath the back seat so it was a metal hangar from stock exhaust to frame and it was too ridgid

You should try to find a way to get those little rubber things to give it the play it needs.

Can't you just weld a hangar to the frame and then a hangar to the exhaust and connect the two with the rubber piece?
