Dude thanks, I appreciate it. That's awesome! You'll have so much fun upgrading your truck. It's a lot of fun making it your own and making building it up for how you want to use it. Awesome man, if you have any questions when you start your build Id be happy to help with whatever I can. White DCLB's are awesome. Great choice in your truck bro!

Haha thanks man! I have a lot of fun messing around with stuff and trying to do it on my own and build things. Built my bumper, my rock sliders, and my bed rack. Felt pretty good when everything turned out the way that it did. And saved a lot of money in the process. Thanks for taking a look at the build and the good feedback.

Well, I'm living on an island in Russia for the next 4 years and just found out today that an icon stage 3 kit sent here will cost me 8500 bucks. That's just crazy. I might see if I can take everything but the leafs back from the states in my suitcases (and families suitcases). Also plan on around 33" tires, airflow snorkel and a winch. It all boils down to what I can get over here. It is awesome terrain over here though so I'm looking forward to getting it going!

Holy FRICKIN crap that's a lot of money! That's pretty crazy. That's a great idea just shove all your stuff into suitcases and fly it over. Dang man sounds like you got some good plans for your truck. I've seen some Offroad videos in Russia and it looks like a lot of fun man. You should definitely have a lot of fun there. Is the 4 years in Russia to do with whatever service your in? (Military?) Or a job or something?

I had my truck for a year and saved up and then got them. Had to persuade my wife that I needed them for my birthday and she gave in :) I love them things. Next time you decide to spend money on your truck just wait double the time and save up a little more and then get your icons :)

I probably won't get them for a long time. I'll do other stuff before I get icons.

Haha thanks man! I appreciate it. The fender chop actually went super smooth, took a little while cuz I did it with the dremel for optimum precision. But other than it being a little time consuming it went well. It certainly makes the truck look better in my opinion and also gave me a ton of clearance for my tires. Little unnerving when I started chopping the sheet metal but I liked the way it turned out!

Thanks bro! I appreciate it! Been fun so far building it up. Last trip I took was a trip I'll never forget man. And heck yeah dude! The Dakars are sick. Love them things. Held 500lbs in my bed straight for 2 weeks while offroading and camping and they worked like champs!

Haha thats how I'm feeling about the whole thing. Thinking using an angle grinder for the metal and dremel for the plastic. What'd you use to mark them and make sure theyre even on both sides?

Just take it slow and you'll be all good! I basically took a wooden school ruler and put a long screwdriver through the open hole on the end and then drilled a small hole 2.5" away from it enough to fit a sharpie tip through it and then you can run the screwdriver along the underside of the fender and the sharpie will stay 2.5" away the whole time as you're going around the fender making your mark. Let me know if that makes sense haha. Make sure you tape off your fender with some painters tape, maybe 2 layers so that sharpie has no chance of running through.

Looks awesome! The truck. The trip. The work. Good job. Wish I could convince my fiancé to go for a drive out west. But we have a wedding coming up so not likely....
