The template isn't accurate for anyThing except the main cutout. The rest of the mounting holes are just kinda "guides". You will have to ream them a bit.
Make sure you attach to the a piller!
    Use lots of silicone.
Hmmm can't really give a performance review... Don't really notice it in my heavy under geared pig. My intake temps are generally only 2-3 degrees warmer than outside temp.
And ummm It looks badass haha

Kind of a busy day today. Ran a bunch of errands. Had to go to 3 different auto stores to get my 5 quarts of Lucas 85w-140 gear oil. Then ran to lowes for a couple things to make a locking mechanism for my Jerry can. Then ran to the electronics store to get a couple scotchloks to tap into the tail lights so I could have a light illuminate my license plate.

Got home and realized I didn't have a big enough Allen for the diff drain plug so that'll have to wait. Wired up the light for the license plate and made the lock for my Jerry can.

Haha yeah. Went into oreillys and they didn't have any, then went to autozone and they only had 2 quarts, so I bought those and then went to the next closest autozone and they just 3 left which was perfect haha. But had to go to 3 stores for it haha.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
So I am wondering how you are going to make the k&n intake work with your snorkel? The reason I am wondering is because I am looking to enclose my filter and route a smooth tube into my cal.

Ah I see. I have never been impressed with the stock intake and they are huge. Also I sold mine last year.

Yeah if I had a boxed intake like an AFE or Volant then I might try to make it work but it's just not worth the effort with the k&n

Great looking truck man, definitely one of my favorites on here. Love how you built your armor yourself man. Tons of talent.

Thanks Sean. That means a lot. I appreciate the kind words, been so much fun tinkering in the garage and piecing it all together haha. With the new winch coming in I gotta build a new front plate bumper with a winch mount, and then I'm gonna build a new bed rack that is a little lower so my RTT is almost flush with the roof line.

Did you teach your self how to weld? I'd love to play around one day and build me a HC rear bumper with a swing out. First thing first I need a house instead of an apartment lol. For the front bumper you going to keep the same look as your current bumper or make a whole new bumper with a different look?

My buddy taught me how about a year ago and I really loved it. My wife and I bought our first house about 6 months ago and my wife let me buy all kinds of awesome goodies for my garage. Welder, plasma cutter, tube bender, big air compressor. It's very helpful having the garage! Then I just started going crazy building a bunch of things haha. You'd have a ton of fun doing it man. My bumper now is kind of a hybrid type bumper. I plan on doing a full plate bumper, kinda wanna do a cross between a pelfreybilt and a CBI front bumper.

By the way I saw that you had 700lbs coils on your icons. I might need to get some of those when I build my new bumper and add the winch in. Gonna be a significant weight gain. How do you like them?
