    Sweet!

Yeah man the dude I spoke to on the phone who took my order was super cool and I've heard great things about them. Hoping to get them soon and I know I have more that I need to cut out of my cab mount. Probably find a little time this weekend to do that.

Ha! Cab mount. You know you can cut and weld your cab mount in your sleep. My buddy that helped me weld back my cab mount plates let me try and weld one side. My side was about as ugly as you can get and I spent more time grinding down my welds than anything else lol. I'm saving up for an entry level welder so I can practice.

Haha it's gonna be nice cutting it with my plasma cutter. Makes things a lot easier for sure. Haha hey bro, it takes practice for sure. My welds on my front bumper look like bird droppings. It was my first metal project ever lol. You're gonna have a lot of fun when you do get one. It's a lot of fun tinkering around and just building stuff. You know which one you're looking at getting?

I have a Hobart Handler in my wish list cart on Amazon. I don't really know much about welders but it looked like it had good reviews. I still have a ways to go until I have enough saved up for it.

Nice, I have the Hobart Handler 210 MVP. It's not the best of the best but I really like it and it more than meets my needs. You'll really like it man. Lots of fun and a good skill to learn. I've made stuff for my dad, fixed things for my neighbors, obviously built all kinds of stuff for myself, etc...

Yesterday I got home and busted out my plasma cutter and started cutting away at my cab mount. Backing out of my driveway I had no more rub. I should get my wheel spacers in at the end of this week. Once those go on, I'll assess what more needs to be done as far as cutting goes. I free handed the plasma cutting as the sun was setting so I couldn't see very well, so don't make fun of my ugly cuts. I'll be cleaning it up with my grinder and then welding the plates back in.

Bro not even joking its my favorite tool I own. Using a grinder to cut steel is something I'm so glad to have behind me!!! Mine wasn't too expensive, bout $650 and it cuts through 1/4" like butter!!! And thank you, coulda been nicer cuts if I had light haha

Exactly! You heard it rubbing that day we met for lunch. Almost embarrassing trying to get into a parking spot hahaha

Haha! No worries man, we've all been there. I had the same thing on the rear of my inner fender liners (the thin little plastic shits). I use a 1"x1" square of double sided tape to pin them back and problem sovled! My old man would talk shit: "You got a brand new truck and did all this shit to it so it could make noise like an old car?"

Yeah. Him being a mechanic, he likes that I do all the work myself, makes him proud I think that I got my hands from him. But he would rather I kept it all stock and not mess with anything.

Got home today and there was a nice big box on my door step. Opened it up to a set of these. MAXSA innovations escaper buddies. Gotta thank my buddy RileyLAFD for hooking me up with these!
