    Just looking to find the most economical way to ship a bumper out to Hawaii. The ease of welding steel is appealing over aluminum. I would assume shipping the lighter weight of aluminum would bring down the shipping cost, but more time needed welding and finishing of aluminum....decision, Decisiono_O

    Haha kinda screwed either way being in Hawaii. Honestly dude, I just pulled my bumper off to start fully welding it up and it was pretty easy to carry through my garage. The shipping label said 75 lbs when it was delivered but I'm not quite sure

    Stick with your plan, do the center then you can always add the side hoops later. Even if its next week at least you give yourself a chance to let it sink in whether or not you actually like them.
