@Shmellmopwho, if you could go back would you go up to a 12' trailer? I've given some thought to doing something similar.

I was looking at a 5x8 in the beginning because I wanted it to be small. My wife said HELL NO cuz it was super small on the inside. 1 foot wider and 2 feet longer was way more doable. My purpose for this whole thing was to get the smallest trailer that was comfortable enough to sleep in. The 6x10 is perfect. I'm 6'2" and I slept comfortably in it 2 nights ago. I think if it was a 6x12 it would be just that much bigger and harder to take it on trails and stuff. I don't plan on doing the Rubicon with my trailer in tow, but I want to be able to take it off into some rougher areas where you can bring a travel trailer or 5th wheel.

Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions lemme know!!

Cool. Thanks. I was going to go full travel trailer, but after having some serious issues with the ones I have looked at, I'm thinking of just making something small but comfortable and saving the $ to build a cabin.

Heck yeah! I like that idea. My biggest thing was the fact that I don't mind campgrounds but prefer to camp more remotely. If I was an all campground person I might have bought a dope travel trailer. But I love the way this is turning out and it's all the space we need to feel comfortable

@Shmellmopwho, what is the height at the top of the trailer when level (ish)? Particularly the roofline above the rear door.

Sorry to disappoint. Unfortunately nothing really new lately! Been so busy getting caught up on rock slider orders and other projects!

Thanks man. When I got home from my 11 day vacation a couple weeks ago, my truck was dead when I got home so I had to steal the battery from the trailer to throw in the truck so now I have to buy another battery for the trailer haha. There really isn't that much left to do but finding the time to do it is tough! Wish there were more hours in a day!

Right on. Keep in mind that's with my 35" tires on it too. If you have any questions along the way please feel free to ask!

A bunch of Red Bull and Mountain Dew and I might be able to stay up a lot longer but I've been trying to cut back haha
