That sucks man. The DMV is whack! They like to make it nice and difficult on you. Was your trailer not up to code to be street legal or something? Didn't pass inspection?

All up to code, did my research so everything was in order. State website says anything under 2k lbs does not need inspected only needs paper work, which is what we did. Come to find out they changed that and didn't update their website so I have to get it inspected by the Colorado State Patrol, who I call, and find out they do it by appointment only, earliest date, September 7th! So this weekend I found a guy selling a cheap trailer on craigslist, using his "VIN" for my trailer... :spy: I actually didn't even have to buy the trailer he was selling, he sold me a title he had from a trailer that got wrecked years ago. Not the most ethical thing I've ever done, but it is what it is. lol

It was super easy, 50 bucks for his title, and this morning cost me another 58 to get it registered and we are good to go. The time savings and hassle alone are worth the 50 spot lol

I'm going to start watching CL for old cheap trailers with titles, so I can be prepared next time I decide to build another trailer.

I'm obviously not Ryan, but I like to chime in on other peoples threads... http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/ treated me pretty well when I bought everything for my trailer

I know!!!! Dude I've been working 12 hour days on the show I'm working on. I get up at 3 to be to work by 4. Get off at 4 and have a hour and a half drive home. Then hang with my little girl and wife and go to sleep and do the same thing all week. Saturday's I've been working on Rock Sliders for other people and Sunday is my only rest hahaha. This schedule will be till Mid October till the show ends. Really can't wait to have a little time to work on this thing!!!!
