From a ride standpoint, what is the difference between 5100 shocks and my oem sport dampers (2nd gen)? My interest is high speed damping. Do the 5100s have more “blow off” than the sport shocks? Are they more digressive?

Maybe another way to put it, is if I kept stock springs and swapped from oem sports to 5100s, would the 5100s be softer over sharp high speed impacts? Or pretty much the same?

    Thanks

No details on this? Anyone go to 5100 shocks from oem Trd sport? What was the change in ride?

I can say I didn't see a huge difference from my oem Offroad shocks and the 5100's. Sorry, I can't comment on the sport shocks though.

    Great link, thank you.

Maybe the better question is... is there a valving difference between the oem 4600 sport or OR shocks and the aftermarket 4600 shocks.
