    Hey guys,

Where can I find the mount tabs to flip my current Bilstein rear 5100s? I need some type of brackets so the eye on the bottom of the shock is at the top end rather then bottom.

    Thanks,
    Richard

this lets you fit longer shocks ie the 5150's

why are you wanting to flip the 5100's?

I think you get a little more travel but I'm not quite positive on that answer.

I thought maybe it would have soaked up the bumps better?

Well I had a mountian bike with inverted forks and on the rough sections the inverted forks seem to ride smoother along the rough spots, rather then regular forks that compress from the top end. I'm not sure what made me think about doing this just another thing to do on the side...

I may be wrong, but I think that the 5100's are only designed to be used in one orientation and they won't properly damp when the oil is on the other side of the shock? IDK maybe I'm wrong, but I think I remembered this from when a few guys bought the 5125's and installed them in the same orientation of the regualar replacement 5100s and they ended up having to flip them to make 'em work properly.....

Hmm I'll have to contact Bilstein and see if I can flip those 5100's the other direction, if not 5150s might be another route... but aren't those for lifted applications?
