Can't. They have to come off, No way to replace all seals and fill with oil.

I can do the removal and reinstall for you if you don't have a place to do it, for an additional fee.

Good grief... how realistic are Fox shocks service intervals? I have 2.0 emulsions on my wheeling rig, and probably have 30,000 miles on them. Fox says complete service at 50,000 miles for only street use, 1,000 miles for 50/50 use, and 500 miles for 100% offroad.

The FOX recommended service intervals are pretty spot on.

No keep in mind that the 100% off road interval is for desert racing not the type of wheeling we normally do here.

I recommend to rebuild every 40,000 for the average wheeler here in CO.

200psi I bet your under but that charge is so small you can't really check without loosing 10-20 psi, even with a no loss chuck.

I can do weekends no problem with a heads up.

In case anyone is on the fence I cannot recommend Tim enough. I dropped off my coilovers on Friday at 7pm and had a text on Saturday at 8 something that they were done. They work much better after the rebuild and it got rid of the annoying little clunk I had over high speed compressions, so hell yeah for that!

Any idea who makes these? They need to be rebuilt but no one seems to know who made them or if they're worth rebuilding. No visible markings anywhere

They look like old FOX's to me. I can take them apart and try and match seals up.

They might be worth it to rebuild , if they can be, since you have them and it will be alot less than buying a new set of shocks.

Edit: They are probably Doetsch tech shocks.

I had a CO FJC guy with some Fox 2.5 Remote Reservoirs that wanted to change his reservoirs hose to match his new mounts.

This was his old setup, it worked but didn't look great and had the possibility for rubbing or failing down the road.

    14215668_10207052671541879_767950782_o.jpg

    Here is the new setup

    Installed

So if you deleted the front sway bar and don't like the reservoir mounting down low and forward on the frame I can get you setup like this FJ.

Is there a rule of thumb to follow with regards to nitrogen charge. Either time or mileage? I feel like my King COs could use a little love but at only 25K, it seems to soon. Not sure about that tho.

I sure wish there was someone in western washington that did this kind of service.

Rebuilds at 40K and nitrogen recharge 12-18 months, IMO.

Nitrogen is a small molecule and most shocks are low after a year or so from the last recharge.

Plan a trip to colorado, I can rebuild them in a day or less with it being planned.

Ha! Never been to Denver before. I hear its a nice place to visit. :D Closest I've been is Grand Junction. That was a couple of years ago.

I'm betting mine could use a recharge at the very least. Probably should do a complete rebuild too. I just checked the mileage, I am closer the 30K actually with a higher percentage of that in hard/offroad miles and its been almost 2.5 years. Hmmm...
