    Hey TW,

Been waiting on an order of 5100s for about a month now. Just wanted to know how many other folks are experiencing the same delays.

If they are delayed, they aren’t surplus.

I think he means he has an order in with "Shock Surplus" and it's been delayed for a month.

Then they need to change their business name. :D

Unfortunately, shocks are delayed all over.

Bilstein has, unfortunately, been dealing with supply issues for years and years.

I thought they were all caught up. I ordered 6112's & 5160's through them around March/April and only took a week to receive them. Their customer service is good, I'd contact them

I think they have the 6112s in stock, but I went with 5100s and eibach springs. Didn't want to max out the circlip to get 2+ inches of lift, or spend the extra $500.

The thing is, I've seen the 5100s in stock on plenty of other sites. Also, when I'm talking to SS customer service, they keep telling me the shocks are due in next week, but then I call next week and it's been delayed again.

Just wondering how long others have waited, so I can get an idea of how much longer I can expect.

I ordered fox 2.0's from them. shipping was pretty quick since they were in stock when I got them. However, they sent me a rear shock that had previously been installed. it was hard as hell to get ahold of them, and when I finally did, they didn't have the shock in stock anymore so I had to wait another month to get it. I'll probably look at other vendors next time.

    Latest update...

Shocks were supposed to be in today, that's the date I kept getting over and over from SS customer service. Now that date has arrived and the new update... They have no idea. FML.

We've had 5100s on order here at Hotshot Offroad since November (and another order placed in March) that still haven't shown up. The last ETA that Bilstein provided was 7/14, and as we all know that has come and gone. If we reach out we literally get the "they'll get there when they get there". It's not just Shock Surplus that is without any front 5100s... :pout:

    Sorry to hear.

I'd recommend looking at your cc policy and marking on your calendar the last business day you can file for a charge back.

Not implying anything disparaging about the vendor, I'm sure they're as reasonable and frustrated about it as you are.

I'm just saying, make sure you cover yo' butt. :cookiemonster:
