When I was living on Long Island, NY a few years ago, I would see a surprising number of cars of all makes/models that would have green, blue, yellow, red, etc. colored lights on their vehicles, and didn't seem to either be aware, or care that doing so on non Emergency Services vehicles is illegal. I do not see nearly as many such vehicles here in California, but they do exist as well.

But then again, people have their front windows tinted way darker than legally allowed and don't care either, so I guess it's all a matter how far you are willing to take the risk......

 

Actually, the more non-compliant vehicles on the road, the better. California cops can spend their time handing out monster traffic tickets to scofflaws, leaving me unhindered and unhassled.

When they find your stash of dope, remember to tell them "these aren't my pants."

Can't ever imagine where some drunk driver might see some red halos and think they're someone's brake lights and steer right into them. No safety issue here.

The jeep scene here is absolutely ridiculous, everyone's got those "angry eye" halos in whatever color. I honestly don't mind it, as long as the actual headlight is white

 

^ I see the angry eye headlights all the time in Jeeps around my area too. Its dumb looking for sure and totally played out.

 

RGB demon eyes and halos all over the place, people have rgb switch backs too, shits bright as hell like a strobe light coming right at you

 

Yep, then they'll go back to mom's basement, and get on the forums to say "FTP, they're always harassing me!"
