Greetings, Well folks. I'm looking for some encouragement. Recently, I purchased new Bilstein 4600 shocks and Mevoteck TTX ball joints with the intention of installing everything myself. I did some minor front end work on my old 92 Toyota pickup and thought that I could handle this project. (the 92 was a much simpler truck) The other day I started into the project and after disconnecting the tie rod end and sway bar. I sorta started to think I was in a little over my head. I had watched some videos and read my official Toyota manuals and post here at Tacoma World it seemed doable. My plan was to use the weight of the truck to release the spring tension to then pull the shock and spring out. I just lost my nerve. Then, thinking about the ball joints and though Mevoteck says that the TTX will fit, I was still unsure. Not wanting to be in a situation with my truck pulled apart and not able to reassemble it. So, I put everything back together and return the ball joint press. So, at this point I'm just thinking over my options and thought I'd put it out to you folks for ideas/encouragement or any help that is offered. After all it is a truck and why doesn't it have serviceable ball joints?
    Cheers, J
Oh, I forgot to ask if anyone knows for sure that the TTX joints will fit.
