    Simple question..

    If I'm changing front shocks only....not changing springs or altering the ride height. Do I still need to get the front end aligned?

    I would say no with the caveat of it depends on how many miles are on your truck and when was the last time it was aligned (if ever).

    Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
    I wouldn't be so quick to say 'no'. What year truck, how many miles, does it wander or need alignment now (before changing shocks)?

    If it is newer truck, with low miles, and not wandering, then I would say you probably don't need to.

    As far as I thought it was a definite YES....You have to drop the lower control arm to pull the shock so loosening that would have need for an alignment.

    Typically it's a good idea to realign after doing any work to the suspension.

    Truck is 2014, barely any miles, but I had it aligned anyway. I agree..if you do anything at all to the front end....you should align.
