Bilstein 4600’s are the replacement shocks for the original equipment Taco shocks. They are not the same as the originals in that they are far superior and built better and stronger than original factory equipment shocks. They are the same internally as 5100’s with a very slight difference in valving. 5100’s are for lifted trucks, 4600’s are for non-lifted trucks. 4600’s are slightly less expensive than 5100’s. Unless you are lifted and go off roading id suggest 4600’s. I have a Sport TRD 4x4 nonlifted and have 4600’s. I spend a lot of time off road on my hunting and fishing trips and the 4600’s perform great. I’m not rock crawling but travel some rough logging roads and 4x4 trails. I also have a camper shell and tow a 3500lb boat. The 4600’s are fine for everything I do including everyday highway travel. Finally at 104,000+ miles you are definitely over due for shocks.

Ahaaahaaa!! That's it! The chickens everywhere and the damn crabs... the ones with legs running thru our tents size of pancakes.
The Navy Galley had great food... of course I always ate good in the Air Force too.

Sprig.. thank you for that ..great useful info.. 4600's .
I'll check them out. Driving easy now to work and back. Good to hear your off road time is handled well by them. Ya.. I don't need to lift. Will eventually hit some loggin roads in Maine to get to Lobster Lake.
