I'm aiming for about 1530, looks to be about a 2hr drive for me. Should give me enough time in the morning to get my sliders bolted on.

If you guys go to the trail head address, you just drive straight...and stop when you see people camping. It is basicly a fire road.

Fair enough, is the BP close enough to the trail head?

Looks like a chance of snow Saturday. Not sure what I think about driving on the roads at 5 in the morning.

so theres some confusion on here about what time to meet at the BP, i originally put 4, but let's say were estimating on being there at 3:30. we'll leave the BP at 4pm. so those not traveling with the hampton roads convoys, just plan on being there around 3:30 or so to gas up and grab any necessities and what not

I might be a camper and a saturday person. The gf is working a 7-7 shift at the hospital in lynchburg so I think I might camp and then pick her up in the AM and meet the group at the BP to head back in.
