Shoe Creek Trail/Camp Jan. 20-21

I gotta pick up the ladies from the house. Probably departing around 6:30-7. Then 2 hours to get there. Ill meet at the camp-site unless someone else is going to be that late and wants to follow me in.

If I can get off work early ill post up before hand

 

I will be right around the corner so I can get there anytime after the gf is done with class.

 

I guess I'll finally get the lug nuts to you! Have the addy or is shoe creek the actual name? I gotta GPS it to see when I'll head up. Though I do have to work... I can always leave a little early.

 

This is a gas station that is on the way where we usually meet up. It's around 1495 N Amherst Hwy, Amherst, VA and its a bp gas station. - (put that address in google maps and you should be able to see the gas station)

its about 2 hours or so from richmond. let me know about what time works for you and i can meet you at the gas station and you can follow me in.

 

What is everyone planning on bringing for food? I have a little mini grill that i will bring and probably some deer meat and hot dogs

 

So are you guys camping friday- sat and sat-sun as well? Or is the plan to leave Saturday?

 

Think i'm just camping Friday night and trail riding Saturday then headed home. You bringing your gf? there should be a couple girls out with us friday/sat

The campsite and start to the trail is at the end of this road and across Shoecreek. DO NOT stop to pet the dog.

Chase: Havnt discussed it with her yet so im not sure if she's coming or not. But ill update tonight to answer that as well as when Im/we're heading down

Last year i went up there when it snowed and we were up by the second campsite and 2 dogs were out there and they were friendly.

 

okay me and the other half will head down friday evening whenever she gets home from work. camp friday night and wheel saturday then head home. anyone wana meet up at the BP gas station and caravan to the trail head?

From the va thread it seemed like bandit and some other were coming up saturday and riding sunday

 

Going to try to fit this in... Gotta get the old lady onboard.
