    Yes and no. haha. The lugs aren't larger enoug. They will work but it will take some time to get the cable in them. You'll barely have to crimp it for them to stay on. haha

    I know the cable is supposed to hold up in the elements but is anyone considering doing some mastic tape or something else to seal it up?

    Here's a few more pics.

    That is a typically 1/0 ga lug on the left (and the rubber grommet that goes over it on the right). That one came in the kit. I have a handful of them already for my other 1/0 ga setup in my car. The stripped wire will fit into the lug, but to make it easier I will probably have to spread it some first. haha. There is no way that rubber grommet it going over the cable though. The end facing the camera is the larger end that is supposed to go over the lug and it won't even fit over the cable. haha

    I don't know about mastic tape, but I'll probably put some regular electrical tape around the lugs if I decide it is needed when I install it.

    Heat Shrink works, wraps of electrical tape does the trick as well
    If I remember correct on mine the skinny end goes on the lug side and the large goes on the wire side. It helps to heat it up a little, heat gun, can use hot water as well
    This cable is a high strand count cable so the terminals are tight no doubt about it.

    Yeah, you're probably right, the small end will fit over the lug, but just barely. I can't get the large end to come even close to fitting. I am going to have a bunch of 3/4" heat shrink left over from another project that may work for this though.

    So I put a tape measure across the wire and it measured 1/2" in diameter. 3/4" with insulation.

    According to the table for American Wire Gauge sizing on Wikipedia, 4/0 gauge wire is only 0.46". 1/0 gauge is rated at 0.33" so about 1/3".

    As you know, all I need is the ground cable in a, I'm going to say 20ft length, and one lug end for the battery. Send me a price. I'll meet up with you, bring your saws, and pay up. But I'm on vacation next Saturday to the 5 of Feb. PM me back.

    I'm in!

    - Big 3 with winch cables
    - Winch solenoid relocation kit

    * (3) 2GA x 6'0" [5/16" ring terminals]
    * (1) 10GA x 6'0" [1/4" piggy back terminal and 5/16" ring terminal]

    The terminals do not be installed prior to shipment. This is the solenoid relocation kit that I would like duplicated.

    Edit:

    After talking with the OP it's clear that the company does not supply the 2GA or the 10GA I requested for the solenoid relocation kit. In lieu of the requested cable sizes they are supplying the same 1/0 cable used for the power line. This is definitely overkill, but still cheaper than sourcing the off the shelf relocation kit that I linked above.

    Thanks for offering this product to TW. :thumbsup:
