2nd gens are better, change my mind.
Mine also came in yesterday. Agree on the heavy part. I may have to see how much weight will be added after I do a full sound deadening job, may be interesting :notsure: thanks @manethon again for putting this together.

Did mine over the weekend. I must have used too much? Did inner side of doors and behind the door panel. Used almost all on for doors. Won't be able to do behind rear seat. Quieted the road noise and improved sound. Door thuds nicely and eliminated the tinny sound. Here are some pics.

2 packs can do it if used correctly, 3 packs for total coverage

I'm looking for something that will quiet the huge drone of my tires and other outside noises coming from the back wall. I've seen a lot of people dissing normal deadening for closed cell foam, but that stuff is quite expensive and thick. Will this help me get a nice, quiet cab, where I'm able to talk to people in the back seat with my "inside voice". Has anyone had a similar problem which was solved using this style deadoner.

if done right you should see a massive improvement. If your still not happy after that, there are a few other remedies available but i highly doubt it unless you have crazy good hearing

sidenote, i have had a few more requests, if your wanting in on the next one please post up so i can do a count

I did the drivers side door last night, I was amazed at how easy it was to cut / install vs some other sound proofing products. More so, I was amazed at how well it worked, definitely a noticeable difference from hearing the knobby mud tires when driving. Highly recommend. I'll get some pics up soon
