    Hey @manethon,

@CoTacoTRD and I got his truck done today! I'll post some of the pictures I took today and we used up 2 packs perfectly doing 5 in the felling and 5 on the back and the other ten in the doors. The doors were done inside all over and then the panel all over and it came out awesome. It is amazing how well the deadener help the ceiling it was a HUGE improvement over the ping piny sound that it had befor. Very solid. Can't wait to do mine!! Thanks again.

It was not that bad at all. There is just time in pulling things out. But all and all not bad.

Bump bump. I got my ceiling installed today it took about 3 and a half hours to pull it all apart and install along with wiring my over head console. There's some pictures. I'll post more when I do the doors.

@manethon i think I qualify for messiest install too.

The seams where not rolled down when I took the photo and so that's why some look raised.

Cool, interested to hear how much of a difference that makes. Also it looks like you have about as many keys on your ring as I do lol

Just finished deadening the back wall and the rear doors.

Used almost all of 1 pack, and covered the part of the floor in front of the back wall as well. Noticed a big difference when covered the back wall, less so on the doors. I'm defiantly going to buy a more packs on the next sale. Does anyone know how many packs to cover the floor and front doors offhand.

The floor of my Access Cab took about 6 1/2 sheets. It will depend on how much of the firewall and transmission tunnel you cover as well. I bout 2 boxes (80 Sq. Ft) to do my Access Cab, I have done the floor, roof, the back wall, and my rear doors so far. I still have my front doors left to do and I have 3 1/3 sheets left. I hope that I have enough to finish.

Ok, thanks. I'll probably need 2 packs to have enough to do the front doors too, but I was going to get two more packs anyway. Maybe I'll use the leftovers on parts of the roof.

IMHO. Do the roof, the doors, and the back wall first. You'll be glad you did. Use the left overs on the floor. When it rains you can hardly hear it, it had a nice sound to it. I drove my truck down the interstate today in the rain and you can't believe the difference it has made. I have my front doors left to do and it should be even quieter.

I will be installing sound deadner on every new car I buy from this day foward. I figured that if you are going to own your truck for a couple of years this mod is well worth the money.

i have alway said, This Deadener made by Shok industry is special and there is a very good reason i chose to represent it. Not all deadener is the same, and id say this deadener stands alone in its own category

Or can you split a pack? I need just 5 sheets to do the floor/firewall up front. That is the only place I hear tire and motor noise now.

The quietest car I ever drove in the rain was actually my soft top Jeep wrangler. The rain was silent on that thing, so strange.

    Anyway.

I noticed that some of you are doing full covereage on the outer door shell and inner door panel. Others are only doing full on the outer shell and covering the holes on the inner. Is there a noticable difference between the two? On my Impreza Coupe I did full coverage on both, and feel that I went overboard with it. The doors are super heavy now though and close with a nice thud lol.

I plan to start with my doors, and do the rear wall and roof once it gets warm again outside.

I ordered 2 boxes and we used the maximum amount possible in the roof back wall and back floor, and double covered the doors. I had 1/3 of a sheet left. I love how quiet the doors are now and solid "close" they have.
