Recommended shop for tranny fluid drain and fill in Miramar area? I have been using The Truck Shop on Miramar Road (By Gold Fingers) and Poway Toyota but I would like to try another shop. Any recommendations?

This is actually the ONLY thing I get done at my local dealership. It's my understanding that it takes specialized equipment to do a drain and refill on our trucks and there are very few shops in my area that want to invest big money in that equipment.

I paid either 200 or 300 for a full flush at the dealer. I figured the truck will be long gone before it needs to be done again. Got it flushed at 200k miles.

Thanks, yeah I do them all the time.
For anyone else reading this. You do not need special equipment, if you check the FSM it gives you quite the long way to do it which is not necessary.
It is just that you need a pump to get the fluid back into the trans and yo want it to be at operating temp in order to get the proper fluid level due to fluid thermal expansion.
And I always use Toyota WS fluid for them since Id rather be cautious.

Hope you are all having a great yet wet weekend!

Try SD Trux, they are in that area and do excellent work, Darrel or John.
