He had to pay $705 to get it back :eek::eek::eek:

I would have left it there. It wasn't worth but about $2,000 to begin with before the spray paint job and electrical hack

Thats stupid to charge the owner..especially it being stolen. They should charge the guy that stole it...i think you or someone mentioned that.

I agree, the owner shouldn't have to pay to get his stolen stuff back.

When our store got robbed the first time it took me a year to get our money back and didn't cost us. The guy that stole it, it cost him his life and we knew him. The second time, we haven't seen a dime of that.

So was bored today. Took apart a lithium AA battery. YT videos say its reactive with water.

My findings... I took one apart (it stinks), had a small piece of foil, put it in water and nothing.

Hmm ok go to clean up my mess, wad everything up in paper towel and go to throw it in trash at curb. Bout half way there the wad of paper towels starts heating up.o_O Theres snow everywhere so i drop it on the ground and it got hot enough to catch the paper towel on fire...

Well after it burns out theres a mess of whatever is left. I found a screw bucket and scraped up most of the residue left... coulda been bad if i caught my shed on fire..:annoyed::annoyed:
