Thankfully I am the Engineer, Designer, and machinist. So I can be the smartass and the dumbass :D

Im not working with any slip fit or press fit tolerances. My issues are on my folding knives. I have 0.010” of clearance on each side of the blade from the handles. So I need to make sure my blades and handles are dead parallel and flat.

I think you need to make a knife that cannot be opened until it reaches a certain temperature. That would be neat lol.

Email last week from the IT monkeys: they're implementing a new system to double check that people have the access to our network folders that they need and people are removed from folders they don't need.

Not opposed to that idea in the least.

Oh, we'll be doing this every 180 days.

And I'll be getting a reminder email every day until it's done.

I received my first email over night. Apparently I'm the owner of 126 folders that I need to go through and verify.

I can tell you right now that I'll be getting the reminder emails for at least the next few days...

When the boss and I went to that customers yesterday he had some totes with stuff in them. I ask what he does with them when they’re empty. He said you want them? I said I’d like to have 4 or 5 to put firewood in. He said there’s one out back and I’ll let you know when I get more. Free-fiddy, the high end of my price range :yay:

I’d hate to put to much pull on it.

We have those same containers at work, I always thought they would look good filled with bouncy rubber balls. Do they still make bouncy rubber balls? :notsure:

Now, about those container innards you're trying to pawn off on me.....can't wait to get it!!!!

I use to have a guy who would bring them to me at the store for free and I'd wind up giving them away cause they were in my way. Now I'm trying to find some more, lol.

You see them anywhere from $30-$50 around here, depending on what they had in them. I'm glad to get the 3 I have for free :yay:

None of mine have bladders in them anymore :anonymous:
