I had to look up those pliers. They look nice!

Also, fun fact! Knipex is pronounced with the N and has a short I vowel sound.

Well, this doesn't look so good. o_O

    KIMG4642.jpg

    :ohsnap:
Now what am I supposed to do...

    KIMG4643.jpg

Hey, this is looking less bad.

    KIMG4644.jpg

The axle flange is fairly large, tight fit to work on.

    KIMG4647.jpg

New shoes, hardware, self adjuster, wheel cylinder + some stainless bolts to hold it on, finished off with a pre-bent stainless brake line.

    KIMG4645.jpg

On to repeat on the other side.

This is on my 98 XJ Cherokee, we have had it since 2001. It was my daily untill I got the old van and has mostly sat around since.

It wouldn't pass inspection due to the rocker panels.

The rust ridge on the inside of the drum is what knocked the lining off the brake shoe.

I blasted & painted the drums, still ok to use and look nice for a while - see how the paint holds up.

Wife wanted new Christmas decor, we got some solar powered Christmas lights, and she drew up a grinch for me to cut out. She's gonna paint it then I'll throw a few coats of poly on it. 20241129_151057.jpg
