Yeah I’m out on the stuffing/dressing. I think it’s the texture, it’s like licking grandmas old green couch.

 

Why is called dressing? Or is that a regional term? I’ve always called it stuffing

stuffing is in the bird, dressing is in a casserole...same mixture

I love sausage gravy over a good biscuit any day, but on thanksgiving I want my rolls and brown gravy. It’s the only day I crave it.

Must be a Texas thing, here jambalaya is a rice dish. What you got looks good, more like what I'd call gumbo though. Funny.

 

We on a diet and skipped the rice.

Cooking was something that happened two styles burnt or still cold or frozen in the center. Then this was long before microwaves

I was happy to get Pizza afterword.

Although I had one friends Mom who made great Filling done right in the bird was so good.

Not a fan of any gravy because it is quite possible I never had any that was any good texture of gear oil it just smelled worse.

 

I’m blessed to have grown up in a home where both my parents could cook good. Now I’m blessed to have an awesome wife who is an amazing cook as well

 

@Gregthespy have you rounded up spindles and all the other things you need for the mower deck replacement?

 

He has till what passes for Spring comes so lots of time before mom`s grass becomes a field
