Those Thule bars are sweet. I'm all about the shell life. I've been back and forth about what I want to put on top of my shell, topper rack vs simple bars like that...sweet setup.

 

Dislike… too matchy with your truck. Ever since you went and bought a 3rd gen, it’s like I don’t even know you anymore.

 

I bought a tonneau cover when I got the truck, it's okay but it's just not me. I miss my shell on my Tacoma, can't put one on the Duramax cause I pull the gooseneck with it.

 

Dude said he doesn't have the key, anybody ever have a key made or get one from LEER by the serial number?

You need to have the cap painted your signature green. Would look pretty bad*ss, if you ask me.

I like the green with black but I don't want to look like some zombie apocalypse hunter

 

I'm sure Leer would sell you one but my key is very simple looking, no notches, just narrower towards the tip like somebody put it in a grinder.

 

I think this might be fitting here since you are talking about manuals and the title mentions battery acid?

 

If it’s anything like camper cam lock keys, there’s like 2 key patterns in existence. My BIL was amazed that my campers hatch key opened his, lol.
I’m sure a locksmith could replace the tumbler in it without much hassle if Leer doesn’t help you.

 

I think there's 5 locks on it though, both side windows open. If LEER can't help I'll ask a locksmith or try one myself.

 

In that case, yeah, it could get pricey through a locksmith. I don’t see why leer wouldn’t help you especially if you can get proof from the original owner that he sold it to you without the keys and is in their system.
